“On January 15, Bobby visited us (we originally thought she was a he). Bobby’s mother, a stray cat, rejected him. She was so weak from the fleas, and Love Meow was told by Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter that her gums were white and her tiny tongue was grey.
The staff did everything they could to see to it that she not only survived the night, but also made it through!
“The shelter’s veterinarian removed fleas. She was continuously fed by her foster mother, who also carried Bobby and other little children about in her bra to keep them extra warm. We can tell how determined she is by their tiny claws!”
She continues to struggle with gaining weight and controlling her body temperature, but she is a little fighter and becoming stronger every day. She is lavished with affection and nourishment by her foster family.
Who doesn’t enjoy a happy conclusion?
This little survival still lacks a loving home that will be his or hers forever.
